Profile of Rev. Mark David
Rev. Mark David has a passion for ministry, especially to youth and families. He committed his life to Jesus Christ at the early age of eleven at an ISCF camp and was baptised at the First Church of the Open Bible, San Fernando, at age sixteen.
For almost forty years, he has been a gifted speaker at several churches, schools and community functions. His ministry portfolio included being a puppeteer, dramatist, Sunday school teacher, Christian Education Director and Youth Pastor at the First Church of the Open Bible, San Fernando. He has also been a National Sunday School Superintendent and National Youth Minister of the Open Bible Standard Churches T& T Inc. Additionally, he has served as an Instructor at the Open Bible Institute of Theology; and a radio speaker for his local and national church body.
In June 2002, he resigned his position as a Senior Mortgage Officer at one of the major Trust Companies to pursue full-time ministry. Since then, he served as an Associate Pastor at the First Church of the Open Bible, San Fernando, with responsibilities for Communications, Youth and Children's Ministries and Secretary-Treasurer of The Open Bible Standard Churches of T & T Inc. - a position which he currently holds.
On 9th January 2011, he was appointed interim pastor at the Church of the Open Bible, Siparia and was later officially installed as Senior Pastor on September 11th, 2011. Pastor Mark acquired a Masters Degree in Family Life Education continues to operate fully in his various fields of expertise. He is married to Kimmie Richardson-David, and they have two young adult children - Amanda and Kevin.
